UCLA Football: Senior Describes "Bittersweet Feeling" Ahead Of Final College Game Vs Boise State
USA TODAY Sports

When the UCLA Bruins take the field on Saturday against the Boise State Broncos for the LA Bowl, it will be the final time that many players suit up in college football. The team stumbled down the stretch of the season, but this is a final chance to make things right for many of the seniors.

Many of them wanted to earn a victory in their final game against Cal at the Rose Bowl but UCLA came out flat. It led to them being blown off the field and saw them drop three of their last four games to end the regular season.

Now they have a chance to end the year on a high note, and that isn't something that they want to take for granted. Lineback Darius Muasau spoke about reaching the end of his college career, and what getting a win against Boise State would mean.

“It’s a very bittersweet feeling, reaching the end of my college career,” said linebacker Darius Muasau. “But there’s no other place I’d rather do it and no other team I’d rather do it with than my boys.”

Muasau wants to end his UCLA career with a bang, and the best way to do that is by going out to get the win. He transferred to UCLA from Hawaii during his college career and ended up being one of their most productive members on defense.

He led the team in total tackles for two straight seasons, putting up 64 this season. Eight of those were for loss, and he had four sacks on the year, as well.

Not many teams get another chance like this, but the Bruins have a golden opportunity in front of them. It's up to them to take it, so it's put up or shut up time.
